I still remember my first trip to London in 2008. Among the normal London tourist sightseeing path, I visited the London Design museum. A London based photographer Tim Walker had his picture exhibition. I am still today fascinated with the images that he captured, especially his sense for epic drama and beauty. He uses stunning sets, great locations always with a bit of the absurd and fabulous. I have one poster of his work in my room, and every time I pass by look at the photo, and I am always amazed with the set, dress and the posture of the model. All of his photos have some intriguing details and are truly innovative and special amongst the photography which is produced today. Tim Walker’s photographs have appeared in Vogue, month by month, for over a decade. Extravagant staging and romantic motifs characterize his style. In every sense of the word his pictures are truly original.
